How We Work

A clear, supported process from start to finish

Applying for a visa can feel daunting, especially when requirements differ by destination, nationality and consulate. Our role is to make the process calm and organised: we explain what is needed, help you prepare a complete application, and stay with you through each stage. We provide application support, not decisions. The outcome always rests with the relevant embassy, consulate or visa application centre.

How a typical application unfolds

  1. First enquiry. You tell us where you want to travel, your purpose and timing, and your nationality and UK residence status. We outline the likely route and what it involves.
  2. Assessment and plan. We review your circumstances against the official requirements for your destination and explain, in plain terms, what to expect and what to gather.
  3. Document preparation. We help you assemble and check your supporting documents, point out common gaps, and make sure everything is presented clearly.
  4. Form completion and cover letter. We help complete the application form accurately and, where helpful, prepare a cover letter that sets out your trip and ties your documents together.
  5. Appointment and submission. We help you arrange and prepare for your appointment at the appropriate consulate or visa centre, including what to bring on the day.
  6. Passport return. Once a decision is made, your passport is returned to you through the centre’s process. We are here for any follow-up questions.

What we help with

  • Choosing and understanding the right route for your trip
  • Checking and pre-checking your supporting documents
  • Completing the application form accurately
  • Drafting a clear cover letter
  • Securing and preparing for your consulate or visa-centre appointment
  • End-to-end support and answers at every step

What to prepare before you contact us

Having a few basics ready helps us advise you quickly: your nationality and UK residence status, your destination and intended travel dates, your purpose of travel, and your passport details. You do not need everything in order before you reach out. Working out what is needed is exactly what we are here for.

Fees, processing times and exact requirements vary by nationality and consulate, so we always check current official guidance for your destination before we advise. When you are ready, start your application and we will guide you through it.

Frequently asked questions

Do you decide whether my visa is approved?
No. The decision rests entirely with the relevant embassy, consulate or visa centre. We are a UK-registered consultancy that helps you prepare a complete, well-organised application; we do not influence or guarantee the outcome.
Can you book my appointment for me?
We can help you secure and prepare for an appointment at the appropriate consulate or visa application centre. Availability and procedures vary by destination and centre, so we work with whatever the official system allows at the time you apply.
How long does an application take?
Processing time varies by nationality, destination and consulate, and by how busy the centre is. We help you plan and submit in good time, but we cannot control or promise a timescale. Always check the official consulate or visa centre site for current guidance.
What does it cost to use Schengen Travel?
Our service fee is separate from the official visa fees you pay to the consulate or visa centre. We confirm our fee before any work begins, and government and centre fees are set by the authorities, not by us.
Do I need to come to your office?
Not necessarily. Many clients work with us by phone and email. If you prefer to meet in person, you are welcome at Salisbury House, 29 Finsbury Circus, London EC2M 5SQ during our office hours.
