A Schengen visa decision rests almost entirely on your paperwork. Get the core documents right and back them with strong supporting evidence, and your application speaks for itself.
The core checklist
- A passport valid for at least three months beyond your return date, with two blank pages.
- A completed, signed application form for the country you are applying to.
- A recent biometric photo to the specified size and background.
- Travel medical insurance covering at least €30,000 across the Schengen Area.
- Confirmed flight reservation and accommodation for the full trip.
The evidence that actually decides it
Beyond the checklist, a consulate wants to see that you can fund the trip and that you will return home:
- Bank statements for the last 3–6 months showing a stable balance.
- Proof of employment, study or business ties in the UK.
- A clear cover letter explaining the purpose and itinerary of your trip.
A second pair of eyes
Cross-checking names, dates and amounts across every document is exactly what a document pre-check is for — we produce a written red/amber/green report before you submit, so nothing weak slips through.
