Choose your destination — we’ll handle the form filling, document review, appointment booking and cover letter for all 29 Schengen countries.
We help UK residents apply for Schengen visas to all 29 Schengen Area countries. Tourist, business, family-visit or invitation-based — pick your destination above, then read on for how the Schengen short-stay visa works.
What is a Schengen visa?
The Schengen Area is a group of 29 European countries that have abolished passport checks at their shared borders and act as a single zone for travel. A short-stay Schengen visa (a “Type C” visa) lets you travel freely across all of them for up to 90 days in any 180-day period — for tourism, visiting family or friends, business meetings, conferences or short courses.
If you hold a passport that requires a visa to enter the Schengen Area, you apply before you travel through the consulate of the country you’re visiting, usually via an official visa centre such as VFS Global, TLScontact or BLS.
Which country do you apply to?
You apply to the country that is your main destination — where you’ll spend the most days, or where your main purpose lies. If you’re spending equal time in several countries with no single main destination, you apply to the country of first entry. Choosing the wrong consulate is one of the most common reasons an application is delayed or rejected, so it’s worth confirming before you book an appointment.
Single-entry or multiple-entry
Your visa may be issued as single-entry, double-entry or multiple-entry (MEV). A multiple-entry visa lets you leave and re-enter the area as often as you like within its validity, provided you stay within the 90/180 limit. Consulates increasingly grant long-validity multiple-entry visas to travellers with a clean visa history.
How we help
We prepare the application form, review every supporting document against the consulate’s own checklist, catch the issues that trigger refusals, write a tailored cover letter, and book the earliest available appointment. You can upload documents securely through our payment-gated pre-check or bring originals to our London office. Get in touch and we’ll confirm exactly what your route needs.
