Travelling to Morocco from the UK

British passport holders can visit Morocco without a visa for up to 90 days. Our Morocco visa services are for UK residents who hold other nationalities requiring a visa.

For non-British passport holders, the entry requirements depend on your nationality, the purpose of your visit and how long you plan to stay. Depending on your case you may need an electronic e-Visa or a full long-stay visa — so the first step is always to confirm the current rules for your specific situation.

Our UK-based team helps you work out which route applies and prepares your application carefully so it is complete and consistent.

Routes we support

  • Short visits (tourism and business). British passport holders can enter visa-free for up to 90 days. Non-British passport holders may be eligible for Morocco’s e-Visa, depending on nationality. We confirm which applies and, where eligible, help you complete the official e-Visa correctly.
  • Long-stay visas. For stays beyond the short-visit limit — for work, study, family or retirement — a long-stay visa is usually applied for before travel through a Moroccan consulate.
  • Residence cards. Many longer stays also require a residence card (carte de séjour) obtained after arrival in Morocco. We explain how this fits with your visa and what to plan for.

Entry rules can change, so always confirm the current position for your situation on the official GOV.UK Morocco entry requirements (opens in new tab) before you book.

What we help with

  • Confirming which route suits your trip and checking current eligibility
  • Completing the visa application or e-Visa where applicable
  • A pre-submission review of your evidence pack for completeness
  • Booking any appointment required at the relevant consulate or visa centre
  • Drafting a clear cover letter and supporting documents

What to prepare

  • A passport valid well beyond your intended stay
  • Proof of your travel purpose (bookings, invitation, enrolment or employment details)
  • Evidence of accommodation and sufficient funds for your trip
  • Travel or health insurance where required

Requirements differ by route and can change, so we will give you a precise list once we understand your plans. Document and eligibility rules are set by the Moroccan authorities, and the decision rests with them — we make sure your application is well prepared and clearly presented.

When you are ready, contact us with your nationality, travel dates and the reason for your visit, and we will confirm the right route and start your application.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a visa to visit Morocco?
It depends on your nationality. Travellers of some nationalities can visit for short stays without a visa, others are eligible for Morocco’s electronic visa (e-Visa), and others must apply through a consulate. We confirm which applies to you.
What is the Morocco e-Visa?
The e-Visa is an electronic authorisation that eligible nationalities can apply for online for short visits. Eligibility and conditions vary, so we check whether it applies to you and help you complete it correctly.
I want to stay in Morocco long term. What do I need?
Longer stays for work, study, family or retirement usually involve a long-stay visa and, after arrival, a residence card (carte de séjour). The right route depends on your circumstances, and we help you prepare the paperwork.
Can you guarantee my Morocco visa will be approved?
No. Decisions rest entirely with the Moroccan authorities. We provide application support, document checking and guidance so your application is complete and well presented.
