Travelling to Singapore from the UK
British passport holders can normally visit Singapore for short stays without a visa. Our Singapore visa services are mainly for UK residents who hold other nationalities and do need one, and for anyone moving to Singapore for work, study or family reasons.
Singapore assesses visitors by nationality, and the requirements for a business trip, a family visit and a long-term move are all different. Our UK-based team confirms which route applies to you and prepares the paperwork so it is consistent and complete.
Routes we support
- Short visits (tourism and business). For nationalities that need one, an entry visa is arranged before travel. Separately, visitors are asked to submit an electronic arrival declaration — the SG Arrival Card — shortly before they travel. It is free, it is not a visa, and we make sure it is not confused with one.
- Work passes. Employment Pass, S Pass and related routes are employer-sponsored. We help you and your sponsor prepare a complete, consistent evidence pack.
- Study. Student’s Pass applications follow acceptance by an approved institution, and we help you get the supporting documents in order.
- Family and longer visits. Long-Term Visit Passes and dependant routes suit family members joining a pass holder in Singapore.
Entry rules can change, so always confirm the current position for your situation on the official GOV.UK Singapore entry requirements (opens in new tab) before you book.
What we help with
- Confirming which route suits your trip and checking current eligibility
- Completing the visa or pass application accurately
- A pre-submission review of your evidence pack for completeness
- Guidance on the electronic arrival declaration and its timing
- Drafting a clear cover letter and supporting documents
What to prepare
- A passport valid well beyond your intended stay, with blank pages
- Proof of your travel purpose (bookings, invitation, enrolment or employment details)
- Evidence of accommodation, onward travel and sufficient funds
- For work or study: sponsor, employer or institution paperwork
Requirements differ by route and can change, so we will give you a precise list once we understand your plans. Eligibility rules are set by the Singaporean authorities, and the decision rests with them — we make sure your application is well prepared and clearly presented.
When you are ready, contact us with your nationality, travel dates and the reason for your visit, and we will confirm the right route and start your application.
