US visa and travel authorisation support from the UK
Travelling to the United States from the UK usually means one of two routes: an ESTA under the Visa Waiver Programme for short tourist or business trips, or a full nonimmigrant visa issued by the US Embassy. We help UK residents work out which applies and prepare a clean, well-organised application.
We are a UK-based consultancy. We provide application support — we do not make decisions, and all approvals rest entirely with US authorities.
Which route is right for you?
- ESTA (Visa Waiver Programme) — typically suits eligible UK passport holders making short visits for tourism or business. It is applied for online and is not a visa. The current ESTA fee is $40.27 (increased January 2026).
- B-1/B-2 visitor visa — for business or tourism when you are not ESTA-eligible, are staying longer, or have circumstances that require a full application and embassy interview.
- Student and exchange routes (F, M, J) — for study or approved exchange programmes, usually after acceptance by a US institution.
- Work and other categories — these depend heavily on sponsorship and individual circumstances; we will discuss your situation before advising.
Requirements and eligibility vary by nationality, travel history and purpose. You can confirm current rules and apply for ESTA on the official US ESTA service (opens in new tab), and review visa categories on the US Department of State travel site (opens in new tab).

What to prepare
- A passport valid for your intended stay

A common pitfall is applying under the wrong route or leaving fields inconsistent between forms and supporting documents — small mismatches can cause delays.
